NREL Integrate / living lab

Summary

As part of a wider R&D project to demonstrate use of smart, connected consumer devices to provide grid-support capability and increase renewables penetration in the grid, the study explored the V2G characteristics of two Evs (a car and a school bus) and three charging stations. The EVs were tested using a grid simulator and also paired with solar PV to study use cases.
